| The Date for this year's A Holiday Affair will be December 6, 2001. We will have a visit from Santa Claus from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at City Bank Lockney. Local businesses will keep their doors open for some great Christmas shopping. A television will be raffled. Christmas cash will be awarded to those winning the drawing. Lockney businesses will host open houses. Along with our A Holiday Affair celebration, the Lockney Area Chamber of Commerce is promoting a "Shop Lockney" campaign. A $25 purchase at one of our participating chamber member businesses qualifies you to enter the three drawings for $100 cash. We will draw the first $100 winner during A Holiday Affair at the City Bank Lockney lobby on December 6, 2001. Subsequent drawings will be held December 13 & 20. We are happy to have another TV Raffle this year. Be sure to go by City Bank and see the 20" Color TV/VCR Combination that will be given on December 6. Tickets are available for $2.00 each at City Bank or from any chamber director. The TV/VCR was purchased from Davis TrueValue Lumber with a donation from Caprock Industries. The Chamber of Commerce is trying to get everyone in the spirit of the season by sponsoring a Christmas Light Display contest. Six awards will be given in two divisions. There will be three residential winners and three business winners. First place in each division will be awarded $50, second place in each division will receive $25 and third place in each division will be given $10.
